Welcome to Becoming: Daily Wins Tracker ("Becoming," "the App," "we," "us," or "our").
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Becoming, which is provided by J Y.
By downloading, accessing, or using Becoming, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Becoming
Becoming is a personal journaling, daily wins, reflection, and self-development application.
The App allows users to record Daily Wins, organize them using categories provided by the App, review personal progress, and create a personal Vision Board.
The current version of Becoming is provided free of charge.
2. Use of the App
You may use Becoming for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or interfere with its security
- Interfere with the operation of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where permitted by applicable law
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit the App without authorization
- Use the App in a manner that violates the rights or privacy of others
3. No Account Required
The current version of Becoming does not require you to create an account, register, or sign in.
Your personal content is currently stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for the content you create and store within the App and for maintaining appropriate security of your device.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the personal content you create or add to Becoming, including:
- Daily Wins
- Reflections
- Vision Board images
Becoming does not claim ownership of your personal content.
Because the current version of the App stores your personal content locally on your device, we do not have access to or control over your locally stored content.
You are responsible for ensuring that the content you create or add to Becoming is lawful and does not infringe the rights or privacy of another person.
5. Vision Board Images
The current version of Becoming allows you to add up to three images to your Vision Board.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate rights or permission to use any images you add to the App.
Becoming does not claim ownership of images you add to your Vision Board.
6. Local Data and Data Loss
The current version of Becoming stores your personal content locally on your device.
We do not currently provide cloud backup or server-side storage for your Becoming content.
You acknowledge that locally stored information may be lost due to circumstances including:
- Deleting the App
- Using the App's "Delete All Data" feature
- Resetting or replacing your device
- Device damage or malfunction
- Operating system changes
- Storage limitations
- Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
You are responsible for maintaining backups of information that is important to you where appropriate.
7. Deleting Your Data
You may delete individual Daily Wins and Vision Board images within the App.
The App also provides a "Delete All Data" feature that allows you to permanently delete locally stored Becoming data from the App.
Deletion of local data cannot generally be undone.
Because the current version of Becoming does not maintain a server-side copy of your personal App content, we cannot recover content that you have deleted from your device.
8. App Availability and Updates
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Becoming or any part of the App at any time.
We may add, remove, or modify features as the App develops.
Future versions may include optional paid features, subscriptions, cloud synchronization, additional storage, or other services.
Any future paid services will be subject to the terms and conditions presented to you at the time those services are introduced.
9. Intellectual Property
The Becoming application and its original design, interface, branding, graphics, text, software, and other materials created by us are owned by or licensed to J Y and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of Becoming except as permitted by applicable law.
Your use of the App does not grant you ownership of the App or its underlying intellectual property.
10. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide feedback, suggestions, or other comments about Becoming, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve the App without owing you compensation.
You retain ownership of any personal content contained in your feedback.
Please do not include confidential or sensitive information in feedback that you do not want to share with us.
11. Disclaimer
Becoming is designed for personal organization, journaling, reflection, and self-development purposes.
Becoming does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment, or other professional advice.
Any statistics, visualizations, summaries, trends, or other insights generated by the App are intended for personal reflection and informational purposes only.
They should not be relied upon as professional advice.
You use the App at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Becoming is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from technical issues.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, J Y will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use Becoming.
This includes, to the extent permitted by applicable law, loss of data, personal content, profits, or other information.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using Becoming at any time by deleting the App from your device.
We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the App or any part of its functionality when reasonably necessary, including for security, legal, technical, or operational reasons.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of these Terms.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice regarding material changes.
Your continued use of Becoming after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Applicable Law
These Terms are subject to applicable laws and mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under the laws applicable to you.
